Protecting your Data.
Your privacy is of paramount importance. Read our policy on how we collect and protect your e-commerce data.
Last Updated: March 30, 2026
1. Information Collected
Information necessary to provide e-commerce compliance services is collected. This includes:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and company details.
- E-commerce Data: Order line items, SKU details, and shipping weights from connected platforms (Shopify, etc.).
- Usage Data: Information on how you interact with the platform to improve overall service quality.
2. How Data is Used
The data collected is used primarily to:
- Calculate packaging material weights for regulatory reporting.
- Generate and archive compliance reports as per EU Member State requirements.
- Provide personalized customer support and technical troubleshooting.
- Improve platform algorithms to automate SKU-to-material mapping.
3. Data Security & Storage
Industry-standard security measures are implemented to protect your sensitive business data. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Your integration credentials (like Shopify access tokens) are stored in secure, encrypted environments and are only used for legitimate data syncing as authorized by you.
4. Third-Party Sharing
Data is never sold to third parties. Information is only shared with sub-processors (such as cloud hosting providers or authentication services) necessary to run the Service.
When generating reports for LUCID or CITEO, this data is not automatically shared with the governments—you move that data yourself, keeping you in full control of your declarations.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR and other privacy regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. If you wish to exercise these rights or have questions about data practices, please contact the privacy officer.
